Hey everyone! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! We spent ours doing what we do best, eating burgers and drinking beer 🙂 Thanks to San Diego Reader, we were able to attend Media Hour at Burgers & Beer Fest this past Saturday and it was by far the best we’ve been to. This time it was more like a beer fest with burgers since all the beer was included in the ticket (last time you had to pay for a beer separately).
We tried some amazing brews from Mother Earth Brewing Company, Mission Brewery, Belching Beaver, Coronado Brewing, and more. It was a hot day out there so the beer tasted SO good!
We also sampled some incredible sliders from Pure Burger (our “classic” favorite), Union Kitchen & Tap (our vote for most innovative), Quad Alehouse, Eureka!, Waypoint Public House, Thai Burger Company, and Funky Fries & Burgers.
Pure Burger had amazing grilled onions and a perfectly cooked patty while Union Kitchen & Tap had a really unique Mexican style burger with corn and a chipotle sauce — it was awesome. Thai Burger Company (not pictured) had a sticky rice bun and an egg which was delicious, but boy was it spicy! We went running for the beer 😂
Overall, it was another awesome event and I think we’re set on burgers for a bit.
Now, time to get back to the grind with a week full of workouts and healthy bites. What else am I looking forward too? Some much needed time with my family 🙂 (Did I mention we’re going wine tasting in Napa😍?!)
